Tamara Bushnik, PhD, FACRM
Tamara Bushnik is an Associate Professor at NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Bushnik’s research interests lie in the area of community integration and independent living, approaching this research from a multidisciplinary perspective. Dr. Bushnik is the Project Director of the Rusk Rehabilitation Traumatic Brain Injury Model System of Care at NYU. She has been a member of the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine (ACRM) for over twelve years. She was the President of ACRM from 2011-2013 and was awarded the Fellow of ACRM in 2009 and the Distinguished Member award in 2008. She has been a long-standing member of the Girls and Women with ABI task force of ACRM and has published and presented research focusing on gender differences following traumatic brain injury.
